During the 2014 Lenten season more than 20,000 parishioners, Jesuit graduates, friends, donors and collaborators took part in “Moved to Greater Love,” a dynamic prayer program with daily updates, produced by the Jesuit Conference in the United States.
For this upcoming Lent, the Jesuit Conference is producing a similar program called “Igniting Out Values.” The six-week program will begin on Ash Wednesday (February 18, 2015) and conclude on Easter (April 5, 2015).
Igniting our Values will give Catholics, united in Ignatian Spirituality, a chance to reflect and grow during the upcoming Lenten season. Content will include reflections by Fr. James Martin, SJ, editor at large for America magazine, Sister Rose Paquette, director of the Pauline Center for Media Studies and Fr. Thomas H. Smolich, SJ, former president of the Jesuit Conference and incoming International Director of Jesuit Refugee Service.
