Nearly 2,000 alumni, faculty, students, parents and friends of Boston College High School attended the Mass of the Holy Spirit on September 5.
The main celebrant was the Episcopal Vicar for the Central Region of the Archdiocese of Boston, Fr. James Flavin. Fr. Flavin spoke of how a Jesuit education enables those who receive it “to give something to others and to have heart.”
The Mass ended with a renewal of BC High’s chartering in 1863 by New England Provincial Fr. Myles Sheehan, SJ.
