Fr. Radmar Jao, SJ, hosts the current video chat on the new vocations website.

The Society of Jesus has recently launched a national Jesuit vocations website. The biggest new feature on the website is an interactive video hosted by different Jesuits. Fr. Radmar Jao, SJ, who was ordained in 2011, hosts the current video. The video allows for those discerning a vocation to learn more about the Society as if they were talking to a Jesuit in person.

The launch of this new website is a timely one. Thanks to Pope Francis, there has been an increase in people asking to learn more about Jesuits and their formation process. Fr. Chuck Frederico, SJ, vocation director for the Maryland, New England and New York Provinces said in a recent interview with CBS News that, “Since the Holy Father has been elected, we have had five to nine inquiry forms a week.”
