Later this week, Catholics from around the world will receive ashes and begin their Lenten journeys. If you are still searching for ways to make Lent meaningful, there are plenty of Lenten resources and events at your fingertips.
The Jesuit Collaborative, a ministry of the Maryland, New England and New York Provinces, has assembled a list of Lenten events throughout the three provinces. For example, Boston will host Thursday with Ignatius, a weekly meditation that pairs the week’s readings with guided reflection. A similar meditation is planned for the New York area on each Tuesday. The New England Province has also assembled a comprehensive list of resources for Lent. In addition to guides and online retreats, the New England Province, in collaboration with the New York Province, has produced a podcast series featuring Jesuits from the two provinces who give reflections in their own words.
It is our hope that these resources will help you grow closer to God and to the people in your life.
