A special Mass sponsored by Fr. Don Baker and the parishioners of the Church of the Nativity, 44 2nd Avenue, will be celebrated on Sunday, September 1 at 11 a.m.  The Mass will celebrate Fr. Jack Podsiadlo’s invaluable contribution to the Nativity community, and to wish him well as he begins a new chapter as Director of Leadership Programs and Volunteer Formation at Sacred Heart Center in Richmond, VA.

The Nativity school movement has been at the center of Fr. Jack’s life mission, as he has served in a multitude of leadership roles on a local and national level since he first joined the staff of Nativity Mission Center over 40 years ago.  This very special Mass and reception will give us all an opportunity to thank New York Nativity’s past President and celebrate an extraordinary Jesuit and true “man for others.”
